Drew had to work from home most of the weekend (Boo to Post-Memorial Day Tuesday morning meetings!) but I did manage to steal him away for a little while today. The Beltway has been making me claustrophobic as of late, so we decided to drive out past Manassas for a little day hike. I found the trails of the Wildcat Mountain Natural Area on this hiking website. They gave it a 6 on the "solitude" scale - the highest rating available - which sounded perfect for an afternoon of running away. And they were right - we had the trail all to ourselves! It was so nice to be out in the woods again. :)
